Ground Cover Acacia is a low-growing, spreading plant that creates a dense layer of green foliage across the ground. Its trailing growth habit makes it ideal for filling open areas, softening edges, and adding texture without adding height.

This plant stays compact and spreads outward, forming natural coverage that helps reduce bare spots. It prefers full sun and well-draining soil and requires minimal upkeep once established. Growth remains manageable, and it can be lightly trimmed to control shape if needed.

Small yellow flowers may appear seasonally, adding subtle color without overwhelming the foliage. Blooming varies by conditions and time of year, keeping the overall look clean and consistent.

Ground Cover Acacia works well along borders, slopes, and open spaces where low-profile coverage is needed. It pairs easily with shrubs, trees, and other accent plants while keeping the landscape visually balanced.

Delivery Information

We offer local delivery throughout the Tucson and Southern Arizona area for all our desert landscape plants and trees. Our plants are specially selected and grown to thrive in the Arizona climate. Delivery options and fees will be calculated based on your location during checkout.

Care Instructions

All of our plants are drought-tolerant desert species perfectly suited for the Tucson and Southern Arizona climate. These plants are adapted to thrive with minimal water once established. Water deeply but infrequently, allowing the soil to dry between waterings. Most desert plants prefer full sun exposure and well-draining soil.

Planting Guidelines

When planting desert plants in Arizona, choose a location with appropriate sun exposure for your specific plant. Amend native soil with compost to improve drainage if needed. Dig a hole slightly larger than the root ball and plant at the same depth as the nursery pot. Water thoroughly after planting, then reduce watering frequency as the plant becomes established. Mulch around the base to help retain moisture and regulate soil temperature.
