Rosemary is a workhorse desert shrub that looks good, smells good, and actually earns its spot in an Arizona landscape. Clean structure, rich green foliage, and year-round performance make it a go-to for borders, walkways, and filling space without visual clutter. It keeps things polished while still feeling natural.

This plant thrives in full sun and well-draining soil and is extremely drought tolerant once established. Minimal watering, minimal maintenance, and no drama in Tucson heat. It responds well to light trimming if you want a tighter look, or you can let it grow naturally for a softer, flowing feel.

Rosemary works great as a low hedge, filler shrub, or groundcover depending on the variety. It also brings a subtle fragrance and practical bonus without turning your yard into an herb garden vibe. Clean, useful, and reliable.

Delivery Information

We offer local delivery throughout the Tucson and Southern Arizona area for all our desert landscape plants and trees. Our plants are specially selected and grown to thrive in the Arizona climate. Delivery options and fees will be calculated based on your location during checkout.

Care Instructions

All of our plants are drought-tolerant desert species perfectly suited for the Tucson and Southern Arizona climate. These plants are adapted to thrive with minimal water once established. Water deeply but infrequently, allowing the soil to dry between waterings. Most desert plants prefer full sun exposure and well-draining soil.

Planting Guidelines

When planting desert plants in Arizona, choose a location with appropriate sun exposure for your specific plant. Amend native soil with compost to improve drainage if needed. Dig a hole slightly larger than the root ball and plant at the same depth as the nursery pot. Water thoroughly after planting, then reduce watering frequency as the plant becomes established. Mulch around the base to help retain moisture and regulate soil temperature.
